The twin communities of Sulphur Creek and Preservation Bay are unique coastal communities surrounded by nature.

To unlock more higher value homes with stunning views, while protecting the coastal landscape, a limited expansion at Preservation Bay is paired with a new Scenic Protection Area.

New homes will need to comply with tailored design guidelines that reflect local character:

• Residential Expansion (Preservation Bay): Preservation Bay’s views and beauty make it a highly desirable place to live. The plan allows for a limited number of new homes on generously sized lots, comprising detached homes up to 2 storeys.
• Scenic Protection Area: Preservation Bay is nestled between two headlands with undulating pastures and productive land, that contribute significantly to the beauty of the landscape. The plan allows these qualities to be protected well into the future.
• Residential Incremental (Sulphur Creek & Preservation Bay): New homes will continue to comprise separate houses up to 2 storeys.
